Brisbane Photos: "The Guardian" sculpture by Cezary Stulgis



I've always liked this sculpture, and flickr user grasshopper25 has taken a nice shot of it. It's by Brisbane sculptor Cezary Sturgis.

I've always thought of it as "Backpacker who doesn't know not to bother waiting for a bus in Brisbane".

What an outrageous thing to say! Brisbane has fine public transport. Unless you want to catch a bus on the weekend, or at peak hour, or get caught out on a day when they cancel buses without telling you, or....

:-) I walk past that statue on the way from my bus stop to my office, and for some reason I'm never in a very good mood.
