If you're up early on Sunday December 13th, from 9 AM to 11.30 AM there's a Car and Cigar festival being held for charity at Fish Lane in South Brisbane (click here for a Google Map).
There are going to be all sorts of fancy cars there, and apparently you can bid for joy rides. There will also be coffee and chorizo hot dogs for sale. It's free to look at the cars, so I'll be there with my camera. The event is in aid of Micah Projects.
The best way to get there by public transport is to catch a 199, 197 or 196 bus heading towards West End - there's a bus stop on Melbourne St right near Fish Lane. South Brisbane train station is also a five minute walk away.
