The Tribalblossoms belly dance troupe are putting on a Gala Night this Saturday, July 25th 2009, at the Russian Community Club at 19 Lotus St, Wolloongabba - click here for a Google Map.
It's $30 to get in, and that gets you over 3 hours of dance from over 13 different dance troupes. There's food and drink (including alcohol) available to buy on the night.
Tribal Blossoms does a lot of sword dancing - the first YouTube clip below shows a sample of the sword dances, and the second clip shows Tribal Blossoms performing at a festival in Ipswich in April this year.
